A whole weekend?!
We decided that what we really wanted was an opportunity for all our friends and families to spend more than just one night together – opportunities for gatherings of friends and family are rare, and we want to maximise this one.
Also, we wanted everyone to get to know one another before the wedding itself, so all the meet and greet stuff is over and done with, and everybody gets to mingle in a less formal atmosphere. So that's why we are starting on Friday night with an informal dinner and drinks.
Accommodation
We have exclusive use of Bannisters by the Sea at Mollymook (http://www.bannisters.com.au/) for the weekend, so every guest is a member of the gang!
All accommodation is already booked and taken care of, so you don’t need to worry about finding somewhere to stay.
What to Wear?
We aren't planning on getting married again, so it's formal all the way for the Ceremony and Reception. Shake out the Number Ones or the best-est and lets do this in style! This doesn't mean evening suits and dinner jackets, but something stylish is the order of the day. Ladies, note the ceremony will be on the lawn, so you know what that means.
The rest of the time, shorts and flip flops should be about right.
Gifts
We don't expect gifts, but if you would like to give us something a contribution towards accommodation costs would be perfect.
